888B (Investor): Processing is generally in the 25 to 41 month range for most applicants. Investment compliance verification adds complexity — the Department needs to confirm the AUD 2.5 million investment was maintained correctly throughout the provisional period.

888C (Significant Investor): Similar to 888B or longer. CIF investment verification, with the requirement to confirm that fund allocations met the 20/30/50 split and that the 30-day reinvestment rule was observed across years of transactions, is a detailed process.
